In the logistics transportation and warehousing industry, ton bags are an important packaging container, and their sealing performance directly affects the safety and quality of the materials they contain. In recent years, with the increasing awareness of material protection in the industry, how to quickly judge sealing performance has become a common concern in the industry. This article will introduce several practical judgment methods to help industry professionals better choose and use ton bags. Here are some quick methods to assess sealing performance:
Integrity: Ensure that the sealing line is continuous without any broken or missing parts.
Material uniformity: Check whether the material of the bag body is uniform, without any weak points or damages.
Water pressure test: Fill a ton bag with a certain volume of water (such as 1/3 volume), discharge the air, seal it, and let it stand upside down for a period of time (such as 10 minutes). Observe whether there is any water seepage phenomenon. If the water seepage exceeds a certain amount (such as 5 drops), it is considered unqualified.
Elasticity and deformation: Repeatedly open and close the seal 3-5 times, observe whether the sealing strip maintains elasticity and no deformation. Deformed or inelastic sealing strips may lead to a decrease in sealing performance.
Leakage pressure test: By injecting a certain pressure of gas into the interior of the ton bag, observe whether it can maintain a sealed state to evaluate its pressure resistance and sealing performance.
